The
600 room Rio Mar Beach Resort is 19 miles east of the
San Juan Airport, on the beautiful palm shaded Rio Mar
Beach. Nearby is El Yunque Caribbean Rain Forest. This
luxury resort has two championship 18 hole golf course;
a full service spa; fitness center; thirteen Har-Tru
tennis courts; eight restaurants and four lounges; a
casino with table games, slots and video poker; several,
specialty shops and boutiques; and 24 hour room service.
There are several swimming pools and jacuzzis: for families
or for quiet relaxation.
Activities
at the Rio Mar include parasailing, scuba diving, sailing,
snorkeling, kayaking and wave running. The Club Iguana,
Kid's Club offers supervised children's activities for
youngsters from 4 to 12 years. Babysitting is also available
for an extra charge.
