Bird
Rock Beach Hotel is located on a secluded cove near the town
of Basseterre. Views from all rooms and suites overlook the
sea in two directions: Southeast is the ocean stretching towards
the island of Nevis. Northwest the views are of the Bay of
Basseterre, town, and the mountains.
The
hotel has two restaurants and bars, a freshwater swimming
pool, and a quiet, secluded beach. A Scuba dive shop is located
on the premises.
All
rooms have 110 volt electricity, air conditioning, louvered
windows for ocean breezes, full private bath with shower and
tub, private patio or balcony, color cable television with
remote control, clock radio and direct dial telephone.
Oceanview
Rooms have one king or two double beds.
Studio Suites have one queen bed and a queen sofabed,
and a full kitchen with a refrigerator, stove and oven, toaster,
and coffee maker.
Two Bedroom, two bath suites consist of a studio connecting
with a bedroom.
Three
Bedroom, three bath suites have a studio in the middle
with a bedroom connecting on each side of the studio.
Some
of the most exciting snorkelling in St. Kitts is found a few
strokes from the beach at Bird Rock. The sandy bottom teems
with a rich variety of tropical fish surrounding the reef.
